Zoning compliments the heating/cooling system and is dependent on: the load calculation to determine the amount of cooling and heating required in each zone; correct equipment selection and sizing as the equipment must remove sufficient heat and moisture from the air to maintain comfort levels; and controls and comfort logic to integrate the equipment with the air distribution and zone dampers into a functional system. |
